Do you have any ideas for this project... an egg in a spaceship?

Styrofoam! Get a chunk of styrofoam, cut it in half and scoop out enough for the egg to fit securely inside. Then carve the chunk into a spaceship shape. If the egg cannot flex, it cannot break!
