New book series to read, any suggestions?

The house of night series, its a fantasy book, that has to do with vampires, i read the series right after i read the twilight series and some people are even saying they like it better than twilight. In my opinion, no book could ever be better than twilight, but the house of night series is a really good book to read after reading the twilight series. Its by L.J Smith. hope this helps.
