No friends?? Advice from girls/guys?

I wanted to know how to talk more to people. The main reason is because, the last real friend I made was in 6th grade. I remember when I was smaller I used to have a huge group of friends but, now I am in the 11th grade and I have friends but, not real friends that I hang out with. I have a felling that if I move to a new school I won't make friends. I have tried the whole start a conversation or ask for a supply but, every freaking time I am talking I have to carry the conversation and you know that conversations like that end quick. I am not annoying or a nerd i'm really just a chill person. I have also seen that I literally have no friends that are girls anymore. I also see how some guys get hugs and talk to more girls and they are way way more uglier than me (no ) is it because they see them as a friend? My main concern is that I will leave high school and have no memories of good time talking to girls going to parties. I have not been to a party since I was 12. Any advice from girls? Or guys?
