I understand being excited about young talent, but doesn't some of the hype go WAY too far?

Its the age of electronic media, you can find an endless amount of stories and discussions about all the big name players and every one of them build the story and build the story to insane levels. 20 years ago you might have heard a couple things about him but not the wall to wall coverage that they get today. It only leads to one thing most of the time, and thats letdown. I think he will be a very good pitcher but I don't believe for a minute that his ERA in the MLB will be .80 or whatever it is now.
