My husband would like roast beef next week for dinner and I have never made one?
That would be a pot roast (rump roast or bottom round) Roast beef is normally cooked in the oven to be medium rare For my crock pot Bottom Round, I flour it and brown it on stove first in some oil then place in crock, I add1 dry package of Lipton onion soup sliced onions and water to almost cover meat, add some sliced carrots, when you come home just thicken gravy with corn starch and water mixture and serve meat with mashed potatoes (you can make those ahead of time and just reheat) You can also make a horseradish sauce for the meat. Just add horseradish to some sour cream. Fattening yet Yummy
